Flow

Payment is created via the API, manually or automatically.
Payment is validated against the industry's sort code directory.
Payment is approved. This can be done manually (Approve option) or automatically (setting the Auto approve payments option within a payment profile).
Payment is committed. This is done manually using the Commit option.
